The short version in plain language

  1. 01Sapty is software your institute rents monthly. You sell to your students under your own name; we run the platform.
  2. 02Plans are billed in Nepali rupees, monthly or yearly. There is no setup fee and you can cancel at the end of any billing month.
  3. 03We keep a commission on each student sale (higher on Sapty content, lower on yours) and pay out the rest every month.
  4. 04Your students buy from you, not from us. Refunds and student support are yours to handle.
  5. 05AI marks are estimates to help students practise. They are not official IELTS or PTE scores.
This summary helps you read the full text. It does not replace it.

01Who we are#

Sapty (“Sapty”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in Nepal with its office in Kathmandu. We provide an online platform that lets English-language institutes (“you”, “the institute”) offer IELTS and PTE preparation to their students under their own name.

These terms are a contract between Sapty and the institute that signs up. By creating an institute account or using the platform, you agree to them on behalf of your institute. If you do not have authority to bind your institute, please do not accept them.

02Accounts#

You must give us accurate details about your institute and keep them up to date. Each person who uses the admin side needs their own login; shared logins are not allowed.

  • You are responsible for what your staff do in your account.
  • Turn on two-factor sign-in for every owner and admin.
  • Tell us within 24 hours at [email protected] if you think an account has been misused.
Good to know Students never create accounts with Sapty. They sign up in your institute’s app, and their accounts belong to your institute’s space.

03Plans and billing#

You choose a plan: Starter (Rs 5,000 a month), Growth (Rs 12,000 a month) or Scale (Rs 30,000 a month). Each plan sets a student limit, a monthly allowance of AI credits and your commission rates. All prices are in Nepali rupees (NPR) and exclude VAT.

Plans are billed monthly in advance. If you choose yearly billing, you pay for ten months and receive twelve. There is no setup fee. You may upgrade at any time; the new limits apply straight away and we charge the difference for the rest of the month. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing month.

Important If a plan payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause new student sign-ups until it is paid. Existing students keep access to what they bought.

04Commission and payouts#

Students pay your institute through the checkout in your app. For every sale we keep a commission and pay the rest to you.

  • On Sapty content: 25% on Starter, 20% on Growth, 15% on Scale.
  • On your own content: 10% on Starter, 8% on Growth, 5% on Scale.
  • Sales that mix both are split by the share of each in the item sold.

We pay out once a month, by the 7th, for the previous month’s sales, to the Khalti account, eSewa account or Nepali bank account you choose. Refunds you give are deducted from the next payout. Payment provider fees are included in our commission.

05Your content and the official exam format#

You keep ownership of the lessons, questions, practice sets, mock tests and teacher-led courses you create (“your content”). You give us a licence to host, copy and show it to your students only so we can run the service for you.

Sapty content, including the synced exam library and Sapty teacher-led courses, stays ours. You may use it with your students while your plan is active. You may edit Sapty teacher-led courses in your space; your edits stay yours, and future syncs will not overwrite them.

The official exam format Every IELTS and PTE exam course follows the official structure: the same sections, parts and task types as the real test. You can fill it with your own questions and lessons, but you cannot change the format. IELTS and PTE are trademarks of their owners; Sapty is not affiliated with them.

You promise that you have the right to use everything you upload, and that it does not copy real past exam papers or other people’s material without permission.

06Student purchases are between the student and the institute#

When a student buys Premium or a section of an exam course, they buy it from your institute. You set the prices and the access days. You are the seller, and you are responsible for your own refund policy, receipts and taxes on those sales.

In practice Students should contact your institute first for logins, payments and refunds. If you need us, we will help you, not the student directly.

07Acceptable use#

Do not use Sapty to:

  • upload unlawful, hateful or sexual content, or content that harms children;
  • sell access to students outside your plan’s student limit, or share one student account between several people;
  • copy, scrape or resell the Sapty library outside the platform;
  • test our security, overload the service or try to reach another institute’s data.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and will tell you why.

08AI marking and its limits#

Speaking and writing answers can be marked by AI against the official criteria. Each marked answer uses AI credits from your monthly allowance. Unused credits do not roll over.

Important AI marks are practice estimates, not official scores. They can be wrong. Students should not rely on them to decide whether to book a test, and you should not advertise them as official IELTS or PTE results.

Your teachers can review and change any AI mark from the marking queue on Growth and Scale.

09Suspension and termination#

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; the plan ends at the end of the billing month. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms and do not fix the problem within 14 days of our notice, or straight away for serious misuse or unlawful activity.

When your account ends, we pay out any money we owe you, give you 30 days to export your students and your content, and then delete it as set out in our privacy policy.

10Liability#

We work hard to keep Sapty running and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. As far as Nepali law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost students or indirect losses. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the plan fees you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. If we cannot settle a dispute by talking first, it will go to the courts of Kathmandu. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any change to these terms that affects you.

12Contact#

Questions about these terms: [email protected], phone or WhatsApp 9869723240, Sunday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 NPT. Post: Sapty, Kathmandu, Nepal.
